This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. A great place for a special occasion and also for wine enthusiasts.
The menu changes with the seasons and everything is delicious but, if available, these are some of my recommended dishes:
- fried potato patties (“tortei de patate”) with local cured meats;
- “carne salada” (cured beef) rolls with cabbage , caramelized onions and bean cream;
- potato and wild herb gnocchi with trout, salentini fish and vegetables;
- carnaroli rice risotto with fresh fava beans and goat cheese;
- canederlotti (bread, eggs and milk balls) with agretti in a rich, buttery sauce;
- roast rabbit roll with polenta and zucchini;
- trout fillet with sweet-and-sour onions and sautéed potatoes.

This spot was found by Dario! He'd seen it on chef Rubio’s amazing tv show about where Italian long-haul truck drivers pull over for lunch and dinner.
Typical Trentino cuisine in an unassuming-looking restaurant.
Recommended dishes:
- “carne salada” cured beef carpaccio with cabbage, Trentingrana aged cow milk cheese, and apples;
- canederli with speck, a traditional Trentino first course of bread, flour, eggs and milk “meatballs”, usually enriched with cheese and local cured pork “speck”, served in a butter sauce;
- grilled pork cutlet (“coppa di maiale”) with taccole, which are similar to broad beans;
- grilled carne salada with stewed beans;
- apple and raisin strudel.
