You are probably reading this guide becuase you are a little stuck on your Florence travel planning. So, let me help you! in this guide I will give you all the resources you need to make your three days in Florence memorable and fun. 

You are probably wondering where to stay in Florence. Thats a tough question as there is many, many hotels and hostels to choose from. As a female traveler I always prefer to book into hotels rather than hostels just as a safety precaution.  

I am going to start with some lower priced hotels and then begin to give you options for higher end hotels all over the city. 

Soggiorno La Cupola Guesthouse is located in the center of the city with amazing views of the Duomo. It is located on the second floor of the building and there is no elevator (so keep that in mind). It includes free Wi-Fi, parking and daily housekeeping.

La Terrazza Suites Apartments are located right in the heart of Florence. It has great views and is located on a quiet street. It is a 5-minute walk to the Firenze train station and a short walk to other amenities in the area. Your booking will include the entire apartments (50m2), private bathroom and kitchen and a terrace view. There is also a laundry room in the building. 

It has amazing reviews from couples and other travelers.

This lovely little apartment is located in the heart of Florence. It is within walking distance to many of the tourist attractions and local amenities. Although it looks like it is on the outskirts of Florence center. It is actually quite close to all the things you may need. 

The apartment includes a private bathroom and kitchen, free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning and an amazing view.

Let's move onto things to do in Florence. 

One of the best things I did when I was in Florence was simply just walk around. Take in all of the views and take full advantage of this beautiful city. 

Walking around is all good and well however, if you are here for more than one day I am going to recommend a few activities and places for you to check out. 

The Piazzale Michelangelo is the perfect place to find the best panoramic views of Florence. You do have to walk up a bit of a hill to get there but trust me the views are worth it. 

Spend some time wondering through the Uffizi gallery and admire all of the amazing renaissance artworks. 

You can visit the gallery on your own or as a part of a guided tour group. If you want to know more about the history of the gallery and the art pieces, I recommend booking a tour. 

The Florence Cathedral, Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore is the Roman Catholic mother church of the city. This church is a must see when you come to Florence. 

You can book group guided tours or you can book a normal entry ticket. Just make sure you book in advance and have your ticket ready when you enter.
