Master Guide: Sunny, Charming Sevilla from a Local

Need help planning a trip to Sevilla but don’t know where to start? I’ve included everything you need to plan a 3-4 day trip! This guide focuses on restaurants and activities to get to know the culture of Sevilla, based on my experience as someone who has lived in Sevilla and spent extensive time getting to know the heart & soul of the city. In this guide, you’ll get: - Restaurants at varying price points, Sweet Spots for dessert, my favorite places to grab a drink -My recommended museums and cultural activities (not bad for getting out of the heat) -A few additional activities that you might not have considered but would make treasured memories for you (and those who travel with you if that's the case!)- flamenco, anyone? :) - an interactive map to help navigate you to each spot

Absolute MUST if you want to try spanish churros con chocolate. Keep in mind that the churros in spain have a different shape& texture to those more commonly known in other places, that the Spanish would call Mexican style (coated in sugar or cinnamon).

El Rinconcillo

The oldest tapas bar in Sevilla! Very famous and they don't take reservations, so try to get there a bit early if you can. Great for a drink or also to eat. If you eat, definitely order the carrillada!

This place is SO Sevilla. The walls are covered with photos of the virgen mary, the tv plays a loop of the semana santa processions and when they close they burn incense. The croquetas are the best I've had in Sevilla but this place is just an overall cultural experience. Do be aware though that it's quite small and predominantly standing room only. Right around the corner from the Alameda neighborhood

Mercado Lonja del Barranco

Great easy option especially if you have picky eaters in your group! This beautiful food market has all kinds of food, not only Spanish, and is a good move for groups that might not be so easy to get on the same page. Right by the Puente de Triana.

For my more adventurous readers & foodies: Caracoles are one of Spain's dishes that are more "atrevido" (bold), but very worth trying if you are interested in having a local delicacy. This spot is known for it's excellent snails, and you've got to try it!

Hey! I'm an adventurer/ super planner with a taste for good food and a coffee vice that sometimes feels slightly unhealthy :) I'm currently living in Madrid, Spain, but have lived in several cities across Europe, North America and (for a brief stint) in the Carribbean. You're in safe hands here as I am a food tour guide here in Madrid, and I take my food very seriously! (Link to the tour is inlcuded in my bio) I'd love to share some of my favorite places with you from along my travels, and personally know the benefit of having a little extra assistance in trip planning. Sometimes you just don't have the time or connection with a local to truly find the best spots, and if you've traveled all the way, you might as well see somewhere great! Here are some of the services I offer: -Personalized recommendations based on your preferences ($15 and up) -Bespoke itineraries to suit the needs of your trip ($40 per day, includes full day's planning with directions, activities and food/ drinks) -Travel Consult Calls (Discuss how to best approach your trip, clear up any travel doubts and gain peace of mind, etc. $30 for 45 minutes) -DIY Food Tour Route Planned for you with food recommendations featuring the local cuisine ($50)
