I always recommend to visit Italy before or after high season (Italian Ferragosta in August) to avoid big crowds. The season here starts at May and is best until early October.
📍You can start or finish your journey in Verona. If you decide to explore other parts of Italy - you can hop on the train and go north or south!
There is also an airport here.
How to get here:
🚊Verona is well connected to the north and south - trains from Munich, Milano or Rome are passing this city daily
✈️Verona Airport or Milano Malpensa + 2h train ride
This picturesque town with its colorful houses and streets full of flowers is a must see, when you visit Lake Garda.
Half of a day will be enough to stroll through the narrow streets, enjoy a gelato at the lakes banks and visit this tiny chapel with a spectacular view.
This legendary focaccia place is not only serving one of the best sandwiches in town - but also the closest way to sit directly at the bank of the lake!
Grab a bike or take a walk at this panoramic route, that is located northern of Limone and is car-free! It’s free to access and will give you the feeling of flying directly above the water!
This is one of the best dinners we have ever had around that area! With a small menu with a huge wine selection, fresh fish and meat dishes (no recommendations for vegetarians), a cosy setting in the garden and lovely interior the restaurant was truly a must-go.
