The Best Places to Eat Paella in Barcelona
Xiringuito Escribà
I think this is a place where all locals will admit that is a good place to have paella. It is one of the most famous and it's on the beach so it is perfect for a long lunch on a sunday. You have to make a reservation though beforehand, don't forget.
Can Fisher
This one is on the same line as Xiringuito Escriba, on the seaside, and is another favourite of mine. They also have, like the previous one, really good seafood too.
Pez Vela
This one is a bit more on the poshier side, it is on the beach too but this one is on the other side of the beach, right below W Hotel. Again, making a reservation is a must. The vibes are cool. Definitely recommend you to sit outside.
7 Portes
I have never actually been to this most famous restaurant of Barcelona, however it is known as one of the best places to have paella. It is very old and traditional, think white tablecloths. So it is on the pricier side, however it is one of the classics.
Can Solé
Kind of the same vibe as 7 Portes, this one is in Barceloneta but again, very old and traditional restaurant known by its seafood and paella. If you are around, this can be a good option.
Terraza Martinez
This restaurant is on Montjuic, so you would have to take a taxi to go there but it has nice views and a gorgeous interior. It is a big, green, super nicely decorated restaurant and they have really good seafood and paellas. On the pricier side but super nice for lunch or dinner.
Arrosseria Xàtiva
This one is actually a chain but it is a local recommendation. I went to the one in Gracia and loved it, but they have various Xàtivas in town, one in Sant Antoni and another one in Les Corts.
