Day 1 - Phi Phi Islands

Explore the famous beaches, bays and lagoons of Koh Phi Phi.

This is where the world famous Maya Bay is located. But you'll also explore the gatorade waters or Pileh Lagoon, the wild Monkey Beach, Viking Island, Phi Phi Don (biggest island in Koh Phi Phi) and Bamboo Island.

Just take note that Maya Bay will be closed for 2 months from August- September 2023 to recover... but all the other beaches are open and are still super worth visiting.

If you want to see and experience Maya Bay, plan your visit past September.

Day 2 - 4 Islands Tour

This tour covers four islands: Railay Beach, Tup Island, Chicken Island, and Poda Island.

If you hire a private boat, choose to spend more time in Poda Island as it has amazing beaches and lots of space for swimming and snorkeling.

During our trip we only had one day to go island hopping as we were in the middle of a tropical storm.

This tour covers both Phi Phi Islands and the 4 islands — and because you'll be in a speed boat, the transfers are quite fast and you'll have plenty of time in each island!

Day 3 - Explore Ao Nang

Explore Ao Nang to chill for a bit on Day 3 and go cafe hopping, go on food trips and try some Thai massages.

You must try some local food as well and get ready to spice things up! Here are some of our favorite Thai food: pad thai, pad kaprao, red/green curry, papaya salad, beef salad, mango sticky rice, dirty coconut icecream

Day 4 - Hong Islands

This tour covers some more amazing beaches and viewpoints: Daeng island, Koh Lading, Hong Island Viewpoint, Hong Lagoon, and Pak Bia Island.

Day 5 - Railey Beach

You may well have done this during the 4-island tour but there's so much more to do in Railey Beach and you can easily spend a whole day here.

You can go kayaking, trek to the mangrove beach, explore Phranang Cave/Princess Cave, paddle boarding, eat your heart out at Railey Walking Street and so much more!

We particularly love how close it is to Ao Nang – just 10 mins away so easy in, easy out with public boats that cost 200 baht back and forth! ($4 only 😍)

Day 6 - Chill in Krabi

A perfect way to chill would be to book a cooking class in the morning to appreciate Thai cuisine even more and a then go for massage in the afternoon.

One can never have too many massages when in Thailand!

When we did our cooking class, we were pleasantly amazed with the fragrant spices of Thai cuisine and we had a feast afterwards!

Day 7 - Crystal/Blue Pool

On your last day, you can explore the Khlong Thong Nuea National Park and visit all three surreal pools:

Crystal pool, Emerald Pool and Blue Pool. You can only swim in the Emerald Pool but the views are stunning and absolutely worth it!

If you have spare energy, you can visit the nearby Tiger Cave Temple which requires a hike through more than 1000+ steps up for an immensely rewarding view and go to the hot springs to relax afterwards.

This is the IDEAL itinerary — if it's a bit hectic for you, you can choose to relax on more days but these spots are the must see destinations in South Thailand if you're based in Krabi.
