Rarotonga & Aitutaki: 10 days in Paradise

 Itinerary for Your Rarotonga Adventure 6/7 days

- **Morning:** Visit Titikaveka Beach and soak in the sun.

- **Evening:** Enjoy dinner at Charlie’s, right on the beach, accompanied by live music. Be sure to try their sashimi and poisson cru—local delicacies that are simply irresistible!

- **Morning:** Get a local driver’s license at the police station for $40( theoretical and practical exam). Scooters rent out very fast. Avis is the cheapest rental car and scooter. Avis offices are located at the Pacific Resort Muri Office, Avarua office and at the airport but the one at the airport does not have scooters.

- **Afternoon:** Spend the afternoon at Titikaveka Beach

- **Evening:** go for sunset at the Shipwreck Hut Bar for sunset.

- **Morning:** Start your day with breakfast at Cook Island Coffee.

- **Afternoon:** Return to Muri Lagoon to relax and rent a kayak. Keep an eye out for swimming turtles!

- **Evening:** Enjoy drinks at La Casita—be sure to order the coconut margarita; it's big and amazing and they make great tacos.

- **Morning:** Start your day with breakfast at LBV Bakery & Cafè

- **Evening:** Dine at the Pizzeria Italiana. The owner Sam pours love into every ingredient, and the Neapolitan-style pizza is a must-try!

- Head to the airport for your flight to Aitutaki. Enjoy the scenic journey over Aitutaki Lagoon, where breathtaking shades of blue stretch as far as the eye can see. Plan to spend at least four days in Aitutaki’s paradise. 

For budget-friendly accommodation, consider renting a private room on Airbnb. It includes shared access to two bathrooms and a spacious kitchen, all just a 3-minute walk from the beach—perfect for catching stunning sunsets. The owner will come and pick you up from the airport and drop you off at the accommodation.

- **Full Day:** Indulge in a full-day Aitutaki Lagoon Tour from 10 am to 4 pm for NZD $ 160  per person. This tour is limited to just eight people and is organized by your accommodation's owner.

- **Morning:** Kickstart your day with breakfast at Kofi Cafe, nestled in a local garden. Enjoy their coconut milk coffee for $4 and a hearty breakfast item for $5. The cafe is located in front of the Air Rarotonga Sales and Reservation Office.

- **Afternoon:** Rent a scooter or bicycle to explore the island at your leisure, stopping at viewpoints for stunning landscape views.

 Day 9: Beach Bliss and Evening Entertainment

- Drive to Tai Roto Bay Beach Villas and enjoy the nearby beach. During low tide, walk along the sandbar for breathtaking lagoon views or head towards Aitutaki Lagoon Private Island Resort. 

- **Lunch:** Satisfy your hunger at Koru Cafe, conveniently located near the beach. Healthy and fresh meals and good coffee available here.

- **Evening:** Unwind with an evening drink and show at Tamanu Beach Resort at 6.30pm on Wednesday and Saturday. Enjoy a cocktail, wine or beer as you listen to LIVE music from the Te Are Karioi Stringband. From 7pm, dine on island-inspired cuisine (buffet dinner) followed by a delicious tropical dessert selection.

 Experience highlights like Honeymoon Island and Big Foot Island often hailed as the world's most beautiful island. Don't forget to visit the post office here for a unique foot-shaped passport stamp!

The Clockwise Bus departs Cooks' Corner in Town on the hour every hour from 7:00am to 10:00pm, Monday to Saturday. On Sunday 8:00am to 12:00pm then 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

The Anti-Clockwise Bus departs Cooks' Corner in Town on the half hour every hour from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday and from 8:30am to 1:30pm on Saturdays.

- **Afternoon:** Spend the day at Muri Beach and take advantage of the local boat tours or just ejoy the lagoon.
