First Trip to Brussels (2-Days)

First Trip to Brussels (2-Days)

Jamieson Kennedy
This is the exact itinerary my wife and I used during our first trip to Brussels. Brussels was stop #3 for us on our first Eurotrip and we arrived via train from Paris. We enjoyed our time here and I found my favorite Brewery in the World, Delirium. In this Itinerary I cover: *Where to Stay *Tour and Key Site Recommendations *Food and Beer *New Favorite "drunk food"

Day 1

We arrive in Brussels by train into Brussels Midi Station. If you are flying into Brussels you can take a train right from Brussels Airport - Zaventem to Brussel-Centraal station, or take a cab. We arrived in Brussels mid-day so this Itinerary is based on that.

Pro Tip: It rains over 200 days a year in Brussels. Plan accordingly.

Where to Stay?

Radisson RED, Brussels

This is where my wife and I stayed. A little bit aways from the City Center but we still took the walk in each day. There are train stations nearby or Uber was easily accessible if that is your preference.

Once you drop your bags off at your hotel, it is time to experience one of the main things Brussels is known for, Beer. My first stop was to what is still my favorite Brewery in the world, Dilerium.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Jamieson Kennedy
I am not a social media travel "influencer". I grew up deprived of traveling so my wife and I have made it a priority to make up for this through investing in experiences. I started planning together trips for us starting back in 2017 and found a passion for putting together the itineraries. I deeply enjoy learning all I can about each place we visit through research and accessing local perspectives when I can. I then thoughtfully plan our trip around the main attractions we want to see, as well as ensuring we eat well. I joined Thatch to share these trips and tips with you so that you too can form incredible memories that last a lifetime.
