Visit the Amalfi Coast + Capri <3

Where to stay?
If you already checked up accommodation in Positano, Amalfi, or even Capri, you may have already noticed that is CRAZY EXPENSIVE!
The answer you're looking for is: SORRENTO.
Sorrento is a town overlooking the Bay of Naples in Southern Italy and your solution to save money and have an amazing trip. Thus, preferably, try to stay somewhere near the train station "Sorrento" because this stop is also where all of the buses departure to drive through the ENTIRE Amalfi Coast.
How does the bus works? (Trick question)
As I said, the buses that depart from the SORRENTO train station are the ones that will get you to the main beaches such as Positano, Furore, Amalfi, etc. You can buy the tickets at the little shop downstairs. However, one ticket = one way, so I recommend to buy over 5 tickets because once you enter the bus, they tear it apart so you can only use it once. You are not gonna have signal on your way to the beaches, so the driver will LITERALLY scream before each stop, so stay wake! The way to Sorrento to Positano lasts approximately an hour, whereas the last beach is Amalfi and it can take up to two hours.
BEWARE: Check the schedule of the buses to make sure you make it back to Sorrento. You can grab a flyer with all of the info from the shop you bought the tickets in.
Should I rent a car to get to the Amalfi Coast?
If you don't like being in small spaces packed with people, waiting long lines, and standing for some time, and if you have the money, go for it! Nevertheless, I should WARN YOU that the Amalfi Coast has very very narrow lanes that at some point it just becomes one, considering that is a TWO WAY lane. The bus drivers will continuously honk to warn the drivers... get used to that sound. Also, I didn't even notice where the cars could be parked so I'm not sure if you can do that anywhere.
Is it expensive?
As a broke traveler student, I could say: not really. The accommodation and food in Sorrento is relatively cheap. The bus tickets (one way) were around 3-5 euros. To be honest, in Positano I found very expensive stuff, but the key is to bring some food with you to eat in the bus and maybe in the beach too. For instance, my friend and I bought some cookies and salty snacks and then had dinner when we got back to Sorrento. Also, I had a proper and low cost lunch at Amalfi so feel free to give yourself a treat. It's totally worth it, the best pizza is in Naples anyway!
So what about Capri?
As you may know, Capri is an island so the only way to get there is by boat. However, you have to broad options:
You either take a regular boat (FERRY) or you take a "private" boat that includes a tour guide, food, drinks, and drop-offs on the sea.
The first one: it only takes you to and from Capri, no stops and you can take it whenever. Simple.
How many days do I need to visit all of this?
Sorrento: Is a small city but has a nice market, a cute square in the center, nice restaurants and you can enjoy its beaches --> 1 day
Positano: Just a day trip is enough, however if you really liked it and you want to revisit, you can consider it as one of your stops when you're going to the other beaches --> Less than 2 days
Furore: It's a very cute and little beach, however it doesn't have much around so I would recommend you to make it just a stop --> Less than 1 day
Amalfi: It's the last beach along the Coast, so keep in mind that the way in and back will take up to 4 hours. It has a lot of businesses around so you can take your time and explore the surroundings, the beach is amazing as well --> 1 day
Capri: If you take the regular ferry, the way in and back will take up to 1 hour, so it's up to you how long you're gonna stay in the island. If you take the "private" boat, they do a full-day guide with limited time so you get back to Sorrento before 6 pm --> 1 day
Total: 3-5 days
