Bozeman, Montana
While some may be upset with the quick growth of size, Bozeman offers a little bit of everything and is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, hubs for Yellowstone National Park.
The town has a small town but big city feel and is nestled right next to some of Montana's most beautiful spots. Bring your dog as it is very dog friendly!
Cooper Park
@theggoldenroad
One of Bozeman's many wonderful parks. We originally came here thinking about camping overnight in the bus, but then decided to sleep elsewhere because of the sloped roads.
This park is situated in the middle of some of Bozeman's most beautiful homes and the park is also one of the few off leash parks in town.

Best Dog Park Ever |Snowfill Recreation Area
@theggoldenroad
We needed a place to let Nemo throw off some steam and found this gem just on the outside of Bozeman. It is less than 10 minutes from town and offers you and your dog(s) over two miles of interlooping trails and plenty of space.
Don't have a dog? Just stop by to meet some friendly people and happy dogs!

Walmart Supercenter
@theggoldenroad
One of the biggest Walmart's we've ever been to and they allow overnight parking! This is not a stay more than one night kind of a spot but it is a safe place for the night if you're heading in or out of Yellowstone National Park.

Butte, Montana
We didn't venture into downtown here, but we heard amazing things about the city that once used to be a gold mining town and later one of the United State's biggest copper supplier.
