Exploring the diversity of Costa Rica

Exploring the diversity of Costa Rica

Come and discover the beauty of Costa Rica. In 7 days you will be completely impressed by so much nature and diversity. On the program, hiking at the foot of a volcano, feeling very small in a rainy forest, enjoying the beach, watching the sunsets, and seeing lots of animals. I consider lodging to be personal, so accommodation is not proposed for this itinerary. You will find many incredible accommodations on the Booking website. This itinerary does, however, include transportation options. Adventure, nature, beaches, forests, volcanoes, wildlife, cacao production. Included: detailed itinerary for 7 days in Costa Rica. Day 2

La Fortuna has 2 must-sees: its volcano and El Rio Celeste, a turquoise waterfall. Many tours offer access to El Rio Celeste, and some even go so far as to propose a hike on the volcano plus the Rio Celeste.

This region of Costa Rica is very poorly served by public transport. If you want to go to the Rio Celeste, the best option is to take a tour.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Hi, I'm Maëlys and I've always had a passion for travel. From a very young age, I've been immersed in the world of travel. Following my studies in the tourism sector and my ever-increasing desire to leave home, I decided to take the plunge into the unknown in 2022. I set off with my rucksack to Central America, with nothing planned and travelling solely by public transport. All in all, 8 months of travelling, 6 countries crossed, a few voluntary jobs and a lot of memories. Since then, I've also visited some of Europe's capital cities and I don't intend to stop there. The words that define me: are spontaneous, adventurous, thirsty for discovery, enthusiastic and always on the go. Travelling is a passion that allows me to discover the beauty of the whole world and the different cultures that inhabit it, as well as meet incredible people along the way. The idea for this blog and travel planner was born during my travels. I noticed that on the one hand, I had a lot of questions about travelling alone, especially as a woman, and on the other, I had a lot of tourist-related questions about where to go and what to visit, so I decided to launch Maelys' Travels to bring it all together. My studies and professional experience in the tourism sector have also helped me to structure my itineraries.
