Time to step foot in a new country!
Did you know that Vatican City is a sovereign city-state and the smallest independent nation in the world, both by area and population?!
Nestled within the heart of Rome, it serves as the spiritual and administrative center of the Roman Catholic Church. Despite its small size, Vatican City boasts a wealth of cultural treasures, including St. Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel, making it a must-visit destination for travelers seeking art, history, and religious significance.
Dinner at Hostarua Ago e Lillo
After a full day of exploring Rome and the Vatican, grab a lovely dinner on the patio of the Hostaria Ago e Lillo. Treat yourself to a lovely bowl of creamy Carbonara, a glass of wine, some crispy flatbread and a cannolo to go so you can enjoy it on your way back to your hotel or the airport!
Hope you have a lovely time in Rome! It is definitely one of my favourite city! Let me know if we should add anything to this itinerary.
