A perfect quiet beach off the beaten path with big waves and warmer water!

One of my favorite beaches in Laguna with amazing clear water!! Not actually 1000 steps but closer to 300 ish and definitely a workout coming back up!

Incredible beach with crystal clear water and amazing hikes! Parking is $20 but you can also call Newport Beach library and pick up a free pass there! The beachcomber restaurant right down on the beach is a must!!

Rent a Duffy boat for a couple hours! Pre booking in necessary but no boaters license needed. 2 hours on the harbor is a perfect way to experience Newport. Bring your own food and drinks and enjoy the sun!!

Experience Lagunas fantastic art scene at the Sawdust festival. This is often going on for a few months in the summer and over Christmas time. Watch live glass blowing, live music and endless stalls with incredible art work for purchase.

Rent bikes and ride along the peninsula! This is great for a couple hours to enjoy the sun. There are multiplied spots down in Newport on the peninsula

A perfect day trip from Newport or Long Beach! Pre book your ticket (they sell out) and head over on the ferry to Catalina Island! Great restaurants, shops and bars on the island. The Catalina flyer website has bookings. You can rent electric bikes and cruise the island (beware there are hills- electric recommended). There is a great beach club with a DJ and full bar! You feel like you’re really on vacation over on the island 🏝️

Balboa island is ‘old Newport’ and attached to the mainland- no ferry required. You can drive on and walk the lap of the island which is roughly 1.4 miles. Cute shops and great restaurants on the island! Perfect at sunset to catch the views on the water.

Get the whipped feta and the rigatoni- mmmm. Trendy spot with a cool rooftop bar and great prices!!! Perfect for drinks with friends, date night or just to pop in for lunch!

Amazing views of Crystal Cove from this great burger joint! Not associated with THE shake shack but perfect for lunch if you're cruising down PCH.

Located right on the Newport Harbor with perfect views and great ambiance! Delicious food and a superb wine offering. Their happy hour is til 6 with some great deals. Highly recommend!

Super cute coffee shop right on PCH. Great to grab a coffee to go and walk along the beach. They have a nice seating area round the back too!

A must when in Laguna! Great coffee and stellar food located in the heart of Laguna. You can take your stuff to go and eat on the beach right across the road!

One of my favorite brunch spots for the food & coffee! Don’t be scared away by the long line, it moves quick and you order first then take your seat. Their avocado toast is SUPREME!

Located in the heart of Newport with a great onsite restaurant and right on the bay, this hotel is perfect! They have Duffy boats available to rent which is the perfect few hours sailing around the bay.

A gorgeous stay in Newports Crystal Cove area, slightly more private and incredible views. It would be ideal to have a rental car if staying here so you can get to and from Laguna or to Central Newport/ Irvine
