Let's go to the beach!

Paros has beautiful beaches all around the island with crystal clear blue waters.

Some of the most unique ones is Kolybithres beach as it is composed of beautiful granite rock formations and crystal clear waters. Being quite popular it is best to visit early in the morning or during sunset hours where most people are gone and you can enjoy a relaxing day in this amazing scenery. Going for a swim at this beach during sunset, is one of my favourite things to do as the colours of the sky blend peacefully with the blue waters creating a unique atmosphere.

If you are visiting Paros with your friends and would like to visit a more lively beach, then Santa Maria, Pounda Beach and also Golden Beach are the ones you want to go to. These attract more people of younger ages as they consist of fun beach bars with music, food and drinks. I have to mention that Santa Maria is one my favourites because of its light blue waters and white sand.

More quiet beaches perfect for all ages including families are: Livadia Beach, Logaras Beach, Farangas Beach, Parasporos Beach, Marchello Beach, Monastiri Beach, Krios Beach and Agia Irini Beach.
