Williamsburg: Restaurants That Don’t Require Reservations
Sandy Sanchez
I was living in Williamsburg for the past 5 years and there are so many good spots around there. I don’t really make reservations too often and love when I can just drop into a place spontaneously. Here are some of my favorite breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurants that I’ve never needed a reservation for!
I’ve included some hole-in-wall-spots as well as some loved Williamsburg favorites. 🤍

Breakfast & Lunch
Maybe you’re an early morning breakfast person, a brunch person, or a lunch person. The great part about most of these is that they have breakfast and lunch—and you don’t need a reservation! If you go at peak hours, some of these may have a small wait but it’s not too bad.

The interiors! The food! The ambiance! This is inside of an industrial warehouse in East Williamsburg and it’s one of the nicest breakfasts I had.
Everything inside is pink, so if you love pink, you’ll love this place. The food tasted so incredibly fresh. All the eggs and greens and toast were perfection.

This is the perfect spot for a casual breakfast. I always the egg and cheese biscuit with the Jalapeño Berbere Spread.
Or if you’re in the mood for a sweet and savory moment, get it with the Fig spread.
This is also a little grocery store with speciality brands. Their cheese selection is amazing!
There’s tables outside that you can eat at.

If you’re in the mood for a Moroccan-inspired breakfast, this is the spot.
I like to get here early to beat the brunch crowd. I love coming here for solo breakfasts, but it’s also a lovely spot to come with friends.
The Moroccan Eggs and Middle Eastern Breakfast are my favorite items on the menu, but you can’t go wrong.

For incredible Guatemalan food, go here! It’s a cute quaint spot in East Williamsburg.
I’m Salvadoran (our food is very similar to Guatemalan food) and this place hits the spot.
Get the Guatemalan Traditional Breakfast! It comes with scrambled eggs, tomato, onion, black bean, sweet plantain, crema, and tortillas. I also recommend the Claudia’s Burger.

This is one of the best spots for a Mediterranean breakfast.
The hummus and labneh are so delicious. I also highly recommend the Shakshuka, Jerusalem Breakfast, and Yemenite Pancake.

This is the coziest little Italian cafe on a cute, quiet corner of Williamsburg.
Go here for breakfast or lunch and get yourself a coffee and one of their classic piadines.
