4 day itinerary to Marrakesh
Welcome to Marrakesh by yours truly, Reni. As you might have read, I have already prepared a free guide with all the hot spots, must see, and don't for Marrakesh. (If you haven't read it, just click below)
Buckle up, buttercup! I've got a fabulously curated 4-day plan to keep you from getting swallowed up in the chaotic energy of Marrakesh.
Ah, the infamous first day of travel. It's like a never-ending to-do list: airport shuffle, check-in, shower (hopefully), and so on. It's practically a part-time job (seriously, it could take up to 4 hours). But hey, you're in a new country, so take your time getting lost with the map, it's expected. Luckily, the airport is basically a stone's throw from the city center (only a 20-minute drive from the old town, where I made my grand entrance). Pro tip: grab a cab from the shop outside the terminal - they've got a whole fleet of eager drivers waiting for a fare and the prices are dirt cheap (10-15€). Or, you could have pre-booked with your hotel.
Depending on your flight arrival, I will estimate that by 18.00-19.00 you have already done all the necessary check-in stuff, put on a nice outfit and ready to roll. (for me, it was almost 5 hours flight from Stockholm to Marrakesh, and I arrived by 17:00, so by 19.30 I was already all set up).
So, I will make the itinerary of the first day, a bit less busy taking in consideration the above. :)
