Introduction
I recently took a trip to this beautiful island after dreaming about it for years, and man, it did not disappoint. I only had 3 full days on the island however I would recommend staying at least a week, even 2, if you are able to! As I arrived at the airport and told border control I was only there for 4 days, he slowly shook his head and went 'oh that is not long enough!' and when the locals are saying it, you know it's true. Whether you prefer to drive or use the public transport, this guide will be your best friend when planning your trip.

Madeira has an endless amount of activities to do, whether you're an adrenaline seeker, an outdoor enthusiast or a foodie the list is endless.
