Kenton-on-Sea is a small town in the Eastern Cape, its about 1hr 30 min drive from Port Elizabeth. Its very popular in the school holidays and summer months so plan ahead if you want to go there for a vacation.

Kenton is situated in between two rivers making it a prime location for a beach holiday and water activities. Its really ideal for kids and families as the rivers make swimming much safer.

Where to stay

There are a lot of stunning houses to pick from in Kenton, I linked below one of the places I stayed at which I found on Booking.com but normally I book a house through Airbnb.

You can also stay in Bushmans which is on the other side of the river but the benefit of stay in Kenton is that you can have access to the beaches, restaurants, shops, and cafes. Everything is walking distance or a short drive and you dont need to cross the highway to get home, making your holiday much simpler and safer.

Really cute flat in Kenton-on-Sea. Its safe with lots of security. Central in Kenton making it a short car ride to the beach and local restaurants and stores. A nice little braai area outside on the stoop.

What to do

You relax and enjoy your beach holiday! There are some nice beaches to take long walks on. You can swim and enjoy the rivers, taking in the sunshine. Kariega river and Bushmans river are the best spots.
