Swifties Guide to Edinburgh this weekend (June 7th-9th)
Are you in Edinburgh to see Taylor Swift at Murrayfield this weekend?
Why not add in some Swiftie inspired places to visit whilst in the city.
I've listed below some independent places in Edinburgh that have put their own version of a Taylor Swift spin on this weekend.
Babyfaced Baker, Leith Walk
Babyfaced Baker on Leith Walk offer delicious handmade cookies and baked goods. They have Taylor inspired cookies, including some white chocolate funfetti cookies (Taylor's version) and a whimsical violet lemonade drink on offer.
Head here first thing in the morning, this place is hugely popular with locals.
Little Blue Door Vintage, Candlemaker Row
This quirky vintage clothing shop has an array of beautifully curated Taylor Swift inspired eras outfits. Aptly named "Thrift & Swift". ✨
Grab yourself something sparkly to wear and all the while listen to some Taylor Swift music whilst in store. If you love vintage, then head to this store.
Invisible Cities Tour Company
This charity organisation offers walking tours throughout Edinburgh, they train people who have experienced homelessness and into world class tour guides. They have created a collection of friendship bracelets all handmade by their team.
All of the bracelets have messages of support and positivity. Support this Edinburgh social enterprise and grab a Taylor bracelet below. 👇🏻🌈
One Square Bar, Festival Square
Situated quite near to Murrayfield Stadium, One Square are offering Taylor mania themed cocktails. Some of their creations include a "Cruel Summer" cocktail which has summer berries and topped with candy floss clouds.
One Square also offer beautiful afternoon teas if you want something a little extra.
Edinburgh Castle, Benugo Cafe
I highly recommend you pre-book your entrance tickets online.
Pie in the Sky (retail), Cockburn Street.
This independent shop offers quirky and unique gifts. They have a good selection of Taylor Swift fan art, greetings cards and stationery. They have an excellent range of funny vinyl stickers too.
If you're looking for something to wear at the gig they also have a good selection of dresses, dungarees and Taylor Swift inspired t-shirts on offer.
I would get here early as it is popular, grab yourself a coffee from the nearby Milkman and join the line outside.
Laila Lunch & Brunch, Antigua Street
Situated in the heart of the city, Laila is the ultimate aesthetically pleasing place to have Brunch. This weekend they have a " Swiftie Brunch" package which includes 2 drinks and 1 brunch dish for £29.95 each. Conveniently, the restaurant is very close to the Edinburgh Tram which takes you directly outside of the stadium.
The pink breakfast waffles look incredible 🩷
Edinburgh Street Food, Omni Centre
Inside this relatively new and hip food court is Edinburgh Street Food which offers different food vendors and drinks. Of course they have hopped on the Swift bandwagon and a few of the vendors have Taylor inspired treats.
The moreish "Junk" food stand are offering a "Travis Kelce Special" American hotdog. Or check out the delicious "Homies Pizza", which serves deep dish pizza and this weekend have a special aptly named "The Tater Swift" 🍕
Whereas, Soft Core (ice-cream) have a tempting "Red" velvet cookie if you're after something sweet.
❤️
This centrally located Edinburgh hotel and bar are offering you Swifties an Era's themed pre party which includes themed cocktails and small bites to eat.
On Saturday only they have a glitter face paint area and if you show them your valid Edinburgh concert ticket you will receive 15% off your bill.
Look out for their "Swift Spritz" cocktail which has Royale Gin, Crème de Violette, lavender syrup and prosecco. 🥂🩷
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy your weekend in Edinburgh.
