In the Philippines' Bicol Region, there is a province called Albay. It is well recognised for its natural wonders including the Mayon Volcano, which is one of the Philippines' most active volcanoes and known for its perfect conical shape. How to get there?

You can fly to Albay from Manila or Cebu, Estimate travel time is 1 hour and 20 minutes. Philippines Airlines, AirAsia and Cebu Pacific have daily flights to Bicol International Airport (BIA). Outside Bicol International Airport, you can ride a van/taxi/tricycle to Legazpi. There is no fixed schedule, the van will leave once it's full.

by BUS

You can also ride a bus bound to Albay, there are several buses that have daily trip to Legazpi such as DLTB, Peñafrancia, Bicol Isarog. Travel time is approx. 12 hours. You can ride them at Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) if your coming from South Manila or Araneta Center Bus Terminal (in Cubao Quezon City) if your coming from North Manila.

Alternatively, you can travel from any point in Luzon to Albay via private car or van, travel time is approx. 10 hours depending on traffic. Refer to google maps or waze app for direction.
