One day in Bodrum
Start your day visiting the magestic Castle of the city. The ticket is 500 tl and it will take you about 2 hours to visit it all.
Be aware that they don't accept euros so...use your card or exchange your money before.
After visiting the castle, get lost walking around the streets of the old town. Explore souvenirs shops, take pictures at the doors with bouganvillea, walk along the beach and have lunch in one of the many local spot.
I personally had a Tombik plate with Ayran (a tipical drink made with yogurt, water and salt) in a place and then i went in another one to get my desert: pistachio baklava with ice cream!
Here some spots that i can recomend you:
It's now time to continue to discover the cultural attraction of the city of Bodrum!
The mausoleum at Halicarnassos, the Bodrum ancient theatre and the Myndos Gate.
Once at Myndos gate, you can follow the path along the walls of the city. It will lead you till the end of the hill. From there then, you will be able to reach the beach in a few mins.
Time for sunset!
What is better than waiting for sunset surrounded by windmills and a wonderful view of both the city and gumbet beach?
