La Chatelaine Bakery and Bistro
La Chatelaine French Bakery and Bistro
@Cassidyludwig
This is family owned French bakery has been in business since they made the move from France to Upper Arlington in 1991. They are not shy about speaking in French here so you better brush up before coming in! They serve the most delicious French desserts, pastries, and quiches that are made fresh daily. Along with their pastries, they also have a full French hot breakfast menu.
I highly recommend trying the Apricot Fold for something sweet or the Quiche Lorraine if you're in the mood for something savory.

Katalina's
Katalina's in Harrison West
@Cassidyludwig
Katalina's is a newly renovated 100 year old gas station that now serves delicious, locally sourced food. The menu is filled with Tex-Mex meets breakfast inspired recipes.
They're known best for the little pancake balls with your choice of filling. Personally, I believe that their breakfast tacos paired with the homemade horchata iced coffee is a top tier combination.

Brass Eye Brunch at The Junto Hotel
Brass Eye
@Cassidyludwig
Brass Eye is located inside the Junto Hotel in Columbus. The restaurant is inspired by Benjamin Franklin because he didn’t take life too seriously. They offer and amazing brunch menu from 10-2 on the weekends. For the spring and summer season, there’s also outdoor rooftop seating with a panoramic view of the city,
I highly recommend the fresh biscuit tower for brunch here.

Cocky's bagels is serving up the best bagel sandwiches in Ohio. They even have Vegan and Gluten free options available. If you stop here on your trip, please try 'The Frenchie' on a cinnamon raisin bagel. They combine sausage, egg, cheddar cheese, a hash brown+maple syrup all on one bagel.

Budd Dairy Food Hall
Budd Dairy Food Hall
@Cassidyludwig
Budd Dairy Food Hall is home to 10 different restaurant partners. I love that there is a little bit of everything here. You've got American, Mexican, Asian, Greek, Italian, Filipino, and even something for dessert too. It's impossible to choose one. For me, the best thing is a salmon poke bowl with spicy mayo and eel sauce with all the fixings.

Rishi Sushi bar
Rishi Sushi Kitchen & Bar
@Cassidyludwig
Rishi Sushi has been nominated numerous times for having the best sushi in Columbus. It's also the perfect spot for someone who doesn't eat sushi. They have a variety of ramen noodles, stir fry, and hibachi dishes on their menu.
I highly recommend the spicy Dani sushi panini. Think of a sushi roll, flatten it, put it in the deep fryer, and then dip into eel sauce before you take a bite. I know, my mouth is watering too.

Forno Kitchen
Forno Kitchen + Bar
@Cassidyludwig
Forno is an American, Italian restaurant with an undeniable youthful energy. They also have the best happy hour in Columbus. Monday-Friday from 4-6 you get 1/2 price beer, wine, cocktails, snacks, shareables, and pizza. Upon request, you can access their speakeasy located inside the bar. I highly recommend the warm ricotta with freshly baked bread.

Playa Bowls
Playa Bowls
@Cassidyludwig
Playa Bowls has become a staple to my weekly routine. It's the perfect afternoon treat/light lunch. All of their ingredients are nutrient dense and absolutely delicious. For each bowl base, they have the ingredients posted in all of the stores. You always know what you're getting there. I have never had something here I didn't like before but I would recommend the 'Ocean Avenue' bowl or the 'Chiatella bowl' depending on how hungry you are

Valentina’s
Valentina's
@Cassidyludwig
Valentina's genuinely has the closest taste of Italy as you can get in Ohio. This restaurant has a very authentic menu. You won't find chicken Alfredo here. Instead, I recommend trying the Cacio E Pepe with fresh Mafalda pasta or the stone-oven Porcini and Truffle Pizza.

At RH Rooftop Restaurant, you get the full dining experience with the amazing menu, the quality, and the interior design on the restaurant. The whole restaurant has gorgeous glass chandeliers hanging from overtop every table. They have so many amazing options to eat here but the charcuterie board is an appetizer not to be forgotten about while dining here.

Forbidden Root
Forbidden Root Restaurant & Brewery - Columbus
@Cassidyludwig
Forbidden root is a craft draft storehouse with a typical American flavor, with a little bit more flare. Although they don’t have a huge variety of options for food here, whatever you get will taste amazing. Their menu is constantly changing as the chefs come up with new recipes which makes every experience unique. I highly recommend the ramen spiced max and cheese.
