Atlanta- Where Life is Peachy

Atlanta- Where Life is Peachy

Now that I have visited Atlanta several times, I have a handful of places that I would recommend!

How to Get Around

Atlanta is really built around cars, so if you are staying for multiple days I would recommend a car rental BUT if it is a quick trip I have some suggestions

The Atlanta Beltline

Atlanta is in the process of creating a walking trail called the Atlanta Beltline. Is it 22 miles or walking/biking trails that connects the outer neighborhoods of Atlanta. It connects both major city markets (that I have linked down below) along with many other sites. It is a really beautiful place to be outside in and the city really utilizes it.

My preferred way to use the beltline is by lie scooter! Through there app you can have short term rentals of high powered scooters!

The Atlanta StreetCar

If you are planning on staying ore inside downtown you can utilize the Atlanta Street Car. It is just one line around the downtown and convention center area, but hits many stops with a good frequency and only $3 for a day pass.

Food Hall/Markets

There are two major markets/food halls to visit in Atlanta. And you can easily visit both! They are connected by the Atlanta Beltline and a nice walk.

Ponce City Market

A more upscale and curated indoor/outdoor collection of shops. It is mostly inside a converted Sears building. The food options are plentiful and upstairs is some shopping!
