48 Hours in the Champagne Region of France (Visiting Reims & Epernay)
Day 1:
First up: Get to Reims
Take the train from Paris to Reims France. We did this VERY early in the morning to give ourselves a full day here. If you have more time and flexibility obviously book the train according to your own needs. The train takes about 45 minutes to an hour and costs around 40 each way. The earlier you book train travel the cheaper it usually is. I usually use rail Europe to book trains, it is an easy site to use and has mobile tickets so you don't have any stress. You could also book at the train station. *Make sure you check which train station you will be leaving from as Paris has multiple train stations.
When you Arrive in Reims
When you arrive in Reims you can walk right from the train station into the center of town. We stayed at
There was also a REALLY nice looking hotel if you're looking for the luxury experience, it was right across from the Cathedral and looked beautiful.
