Antelope Canyon/Grand Canyon
This guide is a suggestion coming from Phoenix,AZ, however it can still service as a guide from the Flagstaff,AZ
After retrieving a rental car (a must) you can then get on the highway and head to flagstaff for the day/night. If you choose to skip flagstaff you can definitely head there but Flagstaff is such a cute city. Also if you are flying in just know that if you are leaving in the evening it gets rather dark in the desert with no lights.
Here are some recommendations for Flagstaff:
1. Hike in Coconino National Forest- With its diverse landscapes, the Coconino National Forest provides numerous hiking trails suitable for various skill levels. Don't miss the beautiful hikes around the San Francisco Peaks
2. Take a Scenic Drive on the Arizona Snowbowl Skyride- Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and landscapes as you ascend to the top of Arizona Snowbowl. In winter, it's a ski resort, and in summer, it's perfect for scenic chairlift rides.
3.Experience Route 66:Flagstaff is along the historic Route 66. Explore the charming downtown, visit vintage shops, and soak in the nostalgic atmosphere.
When there we explored Flagstaff and spent the night at following hotel. As they have other hotels near closer to the downtown area of Flagstaff we found this to be the best option for us.
Arrive in Page AZ
Recommend you book your antelope canyon trip at least 5 months in advance. The best times to see Antelope canyon is between March and October to capture those famous light beams but keep in mind that this is also the most crowded time. The best times to take the tour during peak season are usually in the morning between 7:15 am and 10:45 am or between 2:15 pm and 4:15 pm in the late afternoon. The best time of day to see the light beams is between 11am and 1:30 pm.
I recommend this Airbnb to stay at, it is centrally located to the center of Page and not far from antelope canyon.
While in Page it is a must to see Horseshoe Bend. While there my friends and I went around sunset. We went not in peak season during mid November and arrived at the location at 4:15pm. To beat the sunset crowd arrive about 45 minutes before sunset to have time to find parking and make it down the 20 minute trail. The entrance fee is $10 per car ( cash and card are accepted)
Must See Sights :
Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring beauty of the Grand Canyon's South Rim with this captivating itinerary:

After Grand Canyon I headed back to Phoenix as this was a quick getaway and spent the night downtown Phoenix
