Some tips:
The most delicious wine on my taste is Kisi and Saperaviย
๐ท Kisi:ย The white Kisi grapes transform into a deep orange, tea-like, fragrant wine with dried fruit, tree flowers, and sweet spices. Firmly dry, gently tannic.
๐ท Saperavi: Robust, solid, but with a pleasant aftertaste; wine from the Saperavi never gets boring. In terms of taste, you will taste, especially in the dry red wines, notes of licorice, bay leaf and even a little leather.
My favourite dishes:
๐ง Megruli Khachapuri andย Adjarian Khachapuri
๐ Badrijani nigvzit: Eggplant rolls stuffed with a savory and garlicky walnut paste this combination will impress your mouth
We stayed at a place run by Germans and were amazed by the quality of service. We had an unforgettable experience during our 3-day stay. The night price included a spa and we were able to enjoy a wine bath. We also learned how to make Khachapuri, bread, and churchkhela, and went on excursions to a winery for wine and chacha degustation. We booked a fully separate house which was great. They had three swimming pools (two outside and one inside) and a hot bath. The view of the mountains was breathtaking, and there were many grapes growing on the property. This place is amazing!
This place is exquisite and cozy, thanks to its very helpful and nice staff. It has a relaxing garden. Delicious menu positions in the restaurant and impressive wine. Ideal place for a calming getaway and a gastronomic adventure. As with many others wineries you can order a wine degustation set

Sighnaghiย
is a small town worth visiting on its own on a one-day trip from Tbilisi. Walk through cozy old streets and enjoy the mountain view. I added some places I like for your lunch options and wine degustations
This place is also called the City of Love. Many people come here to get married. And we did as well! It is a tiny town atop a hill in the easternmost region of Georgia called Kakheti. One of the prettiest towns in the whole country. Check recommendations for this town in my guide!
It's a tough walk uphill from the town, but it is worth it. The view from the patio is breathtaking. You can do a wine tasting or have a bottle of organic wine. You can also ask to visit the cellar. Try any dish on suggestion. This place is one of the best in town.
You can have an amazing and unique experience here. You can try homemade wines and chacha in a tiny, old basement. Cherry on the top is their brandy, interesting taste with notes of almond and vanilla
A hidden gem between Georgian wineries! Hospitable family with a tradition of making wine. You are welcome to join the tour and be explained everything about the wine-making process. Delicious wines and chacha!
Have a wonderful stay at this lovely, hidden B&B close to Sighnaghi. Itโs beautifully situated, has cute & clean rooms, great beer & a nice garden. Also, itโs located right next to a horse ranch where you can do great horse back riding tours!

Everything at wine cellar Kardanakhi 1888 is very well done, very thoughtful. Good diversity of wines for all tastes, delicious food, restaurant interior and veranda with an amazing view on the most famous Alazani valley and Great Caucasus mountain range. As you guess it is quite a big complex and they have a hotel Ampelo; tasting room, conference room, swimming pool in the garden, Chacha distillery, beehives, orchard and fruit garden and of course vineyard. It is a common local family with a good education and attitude towards life
Excellent hotel. A wonderful place - a huge beautiful lake surrounded by mountains, very quiet and peaceful. The rooms are well thought out, all the little things are available. Delicious breakfasts. You can take a swim in the beautiful pool with panoramic views of the lake and mountains. You can walk or bike around the lake. There is also a sauna and a small gym.
Please note that the place does not imply active recreation. It's just for relaxation
The area is small, but cozy and well-groomed. New and cute wooden houses that are equipped with everything you need. The houses were clean and bright. There was fresh country air outside, and handsome Labrador Archie was running around. Saperavi wine is amazing! For an additional fee, you can request dinner and a winery tour with a tasting
This is a cute vineyard accommodation. Spacious rooms connected to a lovely garden to hang out in. The hospitality is amazing and the staff is friendly and helpful. They serve delicious food and their own produced wine is on point

Seems like you need to contact Gremi Hall directly to make a reservation
A truly kind and hospitable place and people, combined with a beautiful interior and a great location. You look at the vineyards, you look at the winery and you drink wine. Perfect!
Beautiful spot. Unique area and building. Comfortable beds. Super authentic mansion-type hotel (with just several rooms, creating an intimate environment). Fantastic restaurant with a whole bunch of signature dishes, stunning views, and beautiful scenery over the vineyard. Super well-trained staff members, great service, and very reasonable prices concerning the quality you get. Great for weekend getaways with family and friends, lunch or dinner while in the area, and seeking for great culinary experience.
Truly a luxurious place to stay in Kakheti. Delicious food, both dinner and breakfast. You can join a tour of wine cellars and taste the best Saperavi in Georgia! The rooms are clean, beautiful roses in the garden, and great people. Absolutely lovely place with an amazing team and iconic Georgian hospitality
Wonderful place to visit with family. Very friendly staff and good service. Rooms are clean and spacious, you can find everything necessary for a comfortable stay. You can have a room with a balcony overlooking the Caucasus and the valley. The hotel has billiards, a restaurant, a conference hall, and a large terrace. The staff are polite and helpful with all questions. Also on the territory of the hotel, there is a swimming pool and many areas where you can have a good time.
Tbilvino is one of the biggest and most successful companies in Georgia. Its products are known, appreciated and trusted in more than 30 countries around the world.
Amazing wine-tasting experience. Staff shared a deep knowledge of the region's technology and traditional winemaking methods. The charcuterie was a perfect pairing and the staff provided clear explanations about the wine. They also showed Georgian hospitality, making the experience even more special
Anyone can enjoy this place. Whether itโs a 3-day hike or a 20-minute stroll in the woods. A very beautiful nature reserve. There are several trails for visitors in different directions: on foot, and horseback. Before entering the path you need to pass a reservation at the reception
The smallest of the two waterfalls in Lagodekhi Natural Reserve. The hiking trail is well marked and 4,5 km long on one side, less challenging than the Ninoskhevi route. Amazing experience. Hiking time is almost 4-5 hours. Requires medium training level and good sneakers. Not recommended in wet weather.
An amazing waterfall, one of the biggest in Georgia, but itโs quite a steep, difficult hike through the forest to get there. The sign makes it sound very easy, but itโs not. Not for small children and those who are unfit. 16 km round trip. It is better to go to the waterfall along the lower path with blue markings, and back along the upper one with red markings. It's easier this way
