Midtown:

If you’re looking to elevate your snacking game, look no further. You can’t find these two spots anywhere else in the world; in fact you might not be able to find one at all.

burger joint
@curated_nyc
In the lobby of the Thompson Central Park by Hyatt, there's a red curtain past the front desk. Behind that curtain there's a hallway with the bathrooms. Past the bathrooms there's one of the best hamburger restaurants in the city. They sell one cookie milkshake that you must order. Full stop. One shake runs you $12.50 (worth it)

Taro Bubble Tea at I’Milky

I’Milky 沐白 - Midtown
@curated_nyc
Tiny spot with big flavors. Any beverage with brown sugar, taro milk, and bubbles is a recipe for happiness. One drink runs you $5 a $7

West Village:

You’ll find the hottest spots New York has to offer in the West Village. These two rise above them all.

Pamina Dolci e Gelato

Pamina Dolci e Gelato
@curated_nyc
Authentic gelato... good luck not sampling each flavor! I personally recommend a scoop of the Frutti di Bosco on top another scoop of Stracciatella. Two scoops runs you $6.

Lemon Linzers at Té Company

Té Company
@curated_nyc
You'll enter the brownstone, find the door that says Té Company, put your name down and come back in an hour. You'll order an Ooolong tea and two Linzer cookies per person. You'll thank me later. One tea runs you $12 - $16 One Linzer $4

Chelsea:

Chelsea is a neighborhood for everyone. You might see a bundle of tourists, perhaps a celebrity, maybe the trendiest locals you’ve ever seen. While this could be a recipe for commercial spots, there are two family-owned shops that keep this city real.

Cinnamon Buns at Fabrique Bakery

Fabrique Bakery
@curated_nyc
Actually, all their treats are heavenly and perfect. Arrive before noon because these hot cakes sell like hot cakes! Bonus: when the weather is nice, grab a seat across the street between Chelsea Market. One bun runs you $5.

Tipsy Ice Cream at Aubi & Ramsa

Aubi & Ramsa
@curated_nyc
If you're 21+ you're in luck. I wish I could recommend their top notch cream but each flavor I've tried is better than the last. Huge menu! One cup will run you $10.

Flatiron:

Flatiron is packed with hidden gems. My favorite treat is not one of them. Perhaps you’ve seen this spot on social media and that’s how it should be.

Affogato at Cafe Panna

Caffè Panna
@curated_nyc
Affogato: vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolate drizzles, espresso. While you can't go wrong with any of their treats, the Affogato will change your life. One scoop runs you $7.

Tribeca:

Are you in lower Manhattan? Are you looking for a heavenly treat? Are you prepared for your dessert standards to change forever? Look no further.

Strawberry Shortcake at Takahachi Bakery

Takahachi Bakery
@curated_nyc
Order a whole strawberry shortcake for yourself, nobody will judge you. Crepes are sensational, red bean buns are the real deal, matcha anything, all excellent choices. Cup of cake will run you $6

Chinatown:

In New York City, you could see anything at any time. This is even more true for Chinatown. So to keep the theme, I’m recommending a spot that turned a wholesome dessert into a crude, rude experience.

Vanilla Rice Pudding at Rice to Riches

Rice To Riches
@curated_nyc
This outrageous establishment offers many flavors of rice pudding and very offensive decor. Go crazy with your flavors but if you're a pudding purist like me, vanilla will absolutely satisfy. One bowl runs you $10.50

K Town:

If it’s a hot summer day and you find yourself in K Town, please do yourself a favor and stop by this shop. Their menu is so extensive it could sell at Barnes & Noble; there is truly something delicious for everyone.

Shaved Ice at Grace Street Coffee & Desserts

Grace Street Coffee & Desserts
@curated_nyc
Best shaved ice in the city. Go nuts, order as many flavors as you can in one sitting, that's all I have to say. Godspeed. Hunk of shaved ice runs you about $10

Upper West Side:

The Upper West Side might be the most underrated neighborhood in the city. This little shop of little treats is par for the course. You probably won’t see this place go viral but you will see a very long and deserved line out the door.

Baklava at Hungarian Pastry Shop

The Hungarian Pastry Shop
@curated_nyc
Inside one of the most charming bakeries in Manhattan you’ll find a tray of amazing Baklava. If that’s not your style, I’d recommend the Apple pastries or almond croissants. Pastry runs you $3 - $5

Upper East Side:

I’m going to shoot it to you straight.. good luck with this one. My favorite spot for an Upper East Side treat is tremendously hard to get into. If you can muster the patience to wait in multiple lines, I can tell you it’s worth it.

Apple Strudel at Cafe Sabarsky

Café Sabarsky
@curated_nyc
I'd recommend two things here. The apple strudel and some meditating. The line(s) for this spot are out of control but I promise it's worth it. Strudel runs you $9.5

This list offers a money-back guarantee you’ll find a new favorite treat. Not really, but if I could, I would. Enjoy!
