Brienz boat station

The total duration of the round trip boat ride is around an hour and a quarter. You can get down at any of the stops on the way. A popular stop is Iseltwald or Giessbach See to view the famous Giessbach Waterfalls. If you are walking from the falls to Iseltwald, you can explore a small island named Schnäggeninseli( Snail island) A walk from Iseltwald to Giessbach Waterfalls takes around 1.5-2 hours A walk from Giessbach see to the Giessbach Waterfalls takes around 15 mins There is a funicular called the Giessbachbahn which reduces the time to go to Giessbach Waterfalls to around 10 mins. The return ticket is around 12 CHF and 10 CHF with a Bernese Oberland Pass. It is free for guests of the Giessbach hotel.
