Palma has become such an international spot, that you will find all sorts of coffee places, from traditional bars to specialty coffee shops.

Whether it is a lazy morning coffee, or an energy refill on a busy day in the city, I hope you find this list helpful ;)

1. Mistral

Mistral is a coffee roaster and they have their cafe at Plaza de Weyler . Nice and relaxed atmosphere, you can sit inside to cool down or enjoy the sunshine sitting at the table outside. They also offer delicious sandwiches and pastries if you want to grab a bite. You will find their coffee in many other places too.

2. El grano de cafe

Apart from great coffee, good choice for a bite and friendly staff, a big one is the opening hours - they are open every day from 8:00-22:00. If that might sound to you like a normal thing, check the opening hours of any other coffee place in Majorca to compare 😉

2. Surrey Hills

That’s a perfect spot to have brunch, or a light dish for lunch. Good quality coffee, easy going atmosphere, more places to site inside rather than outside as they are located at a tiny street.

4. Rosevelvet bakery

I love this place for fantastic bread, pastries, deserts, and they do have a great coffee too. Before the eater has been opened it felt almost like a crime to have the coffee in the paper cup only. I do like my coffee in a normal cup as you get most of its taste, as a bonus you do not produce extra waste. That was the case for the bakery, and I do appreciate that coffee was just a side thing, luckily now they have opened a Rosevelvet eatery, where you can have a proper brunch as well.

The great focus is the bakery, but the coffee standards are high as well

6. Sa Bakery

If you find yourself closer to the east side of the island - this will be your best shot around here. They do have great coffee, pastries and sandwiches, but check the opening hours as they are shorter than I wish they were.

SA BAKERY CAFE
@lizasubko
Lovely bakery which is not in Palma, one of the very few specialty coffee shops in the area.

I hope you find this helpful, you can also find a full list of specialty coffee shops here

If you do find my guides useful you could donate a small amount to help me create more, or just leave a comment - this will also tell me that I could help someone planning their trip to Majorca ☺️

Bonus tip! Locals normally drink cortado - shot of espresso with equal amount of steamed milk added (see cover photo). In the local dialect it is also called tallat, which literary means 'cut'.
