Hostels & Hotels in the city center

The old town in Santa Marta offers loads of hotels and apartments. Below is the (vetted) list of places where I stayed in, and had a good set-up for working including a suitable desk as well as high-speed internet.

Puerta Aqua By La Puerta Hostels

Quite simplistic but functional and big rooms, some with working desk, rooftop terrace and close to the city center, but away from the noise ($)

Hostels & Hotels around Santa Marta

Santa Marta is also a great base to explore the surroundings.

However, away from the city center, the internet connection can be a bit of a challenge. I would therefore not recommend staying outside of Santa Marta to work from for a long time. However, if you have a slow day without calls, or a long weekend - any of the below places offer an internet connection that would allow you to do some basic online work

1. The Journey Hostel - Los Naranjos

2. Selina - Palomino

Selina Palomino
@explora_do_ra

3. Casa Loma - Minca
