Why 3 days in Panama?
Take advantage of the Copa Airlines Stopover program
Copa Airlines is the flag carrier of Panama. It is headquartered in Panama City, Panama, with its main hub at Tocumen International Airport. To encourage tourism in the country they offer a program call Stopover which allows you to stay up to 7 days in the country for the same cost.
Our final destination at that time was Chicago, but since we had some spare days, the Stopover program allowed us to explore the country before getting there at the exact same plane ticket cost that getting to Chicago directly.
