How to get around?

In the "Pink city" - Yerevan:

✔You can walk around almost everywhere. From one end of Yerevan to the other is around 30-40 minutes. Bring on comfy shoes!

✔ Bicycles and electric scooters. You can download these apps:

Yerevan RIDE, JET, and BusyFly.

✔You can use a taxi (they are not metered though, so negotiate your price before you ride). Luckily, taxis are pretty affordable in Armenia. You can use applications like Uber (Yandex or GG apps). They take you around Armenia not just inside Yerevan.

✔You can use the metro.

Inter-city travel:

✔Taxis (Yandex or GG apps too).

✔Hitchhiking or avtostop [Russian].

✔Minibuses.

✔You can use larger buses - marshrutka. Find the A2B Transport app on Android

OR

You can rent a car (easiest and most convenient way to move around) but it quite depends on your budget. Prices start at around $25 per day.

If you decide to do so, remember that cars drive on the RIGHT side of the road. Not all roads are paved. Some of them are full of bumps and holes, too.

How to visit 10 cities in a week - Overview:

Checked in and ready to explore the pink city?
