âYou can walk around almost everywhere. From one end of Yerevan to the other is around 30-40 minutes. Bring on comfy shoes!

Yerevan RIDE, JET, and BusyFly.
âYou can use a taxi (they are not metered though, so negotiate your price before you ride). Luckily, taxis are pretty affordable in Armenia. You can use applications like Uber (Yandex or GG apps). They take you around Armenia not just inside Yerevan.
âYou can use the metro.
Inter-city travel:
âTaxis (Yandex or GG apps too).
âHitchhiking or avtostop [Russian].
âMinibuses.
âYou can use larger buses - marshrutka. Find the A2B Transport app on Android
You can rent a car (easiest and most convenient way to move around) but it quite depends on your budget. Prices start at around $25 per day.
If you decide to do so, remember that cars drive on the RIGHT side of the road. Not all roads are paved. Some of them are full of bumps and holes, too.
Arrive to the Zvartnots airport and you are t w e n t y minutes away from the pink city - Yerevan. It's got its name because of the color of the stone used for building. Through the countryside, you see the houses blending into the pinkish hills.
The shuttle bus works 24/7 and will drop you off at the city center OR a taxi ride to your destination (usually under 3,000 AMD).
572 steps (or escalators) to the top. Breath-taking views of Yerevan and if you're lucky with a clear sky, you will see Mount Ararat too!
ð: Escalators are free to use and operating from 8AM-8PM. You pass by art exhibitions on your way up!
An open-air souvenir market where you will find local handicrafts. These include chess, game boards, jewelry and many different things! Keep their traditions alive and support locals by buying your souvenirs from there.
The only pagan/ Greco-Roman temple surviving in Armenia till now! You will feel like you teleported into Greece all of a sudden. The view from there is amazing: Azalt river and mountains, just wow!

Continue to Geghard (if you decide to skip Garni, Geghard is 50 mins from Yerevan)
UNESCO World Heritage Site that is carved into mountain rock.
Make sure to explore the outside area of the monastery, not just the church inside. You will find a small bridge with a stream of water under it.
If you are visiting in summer, make sure you enjoy recreational water activities (swimming, fishing, and boating). Whatever it is, enjoy it!
