I find Cabify to be my preferred choice over other car apps in Buenos Aires due to their superior cars and service, in my opinion.

For journeys from the airport to the city, using the Cabify app is highly recommended. Taxis at the airport often overcharge unsuspecting tourists who may not be familiar with the standard fare. Cabify provides upfront pricing, allowing you to confirm the cost before your journey, and the app displays the route on your phone to ensure you're on the most direct path.

When navigating the city, especially if you're alone or traveling at night, I suggest utilizing the app as well. While public transport is cost-effective and well-connected, the app offers a convenient and safer alternative. Walking during the day is generally safe, especially in the right neighborhoods, which I'll discuss in more detail next.
