How to get there

Being such a small island, Sikinos doesn't have an airport. You can easily reach with a 2-hour ferry ride from Santorini or from Athens (Pireaus Port). You can easily and safely book your ferry tickets on Ferryhopper.com.

This cute b&b is located near the port of Alopronia and the transfer to and from the port is complimentary. Nearby you'll find a tiny grocery shop and the bus station. It offers comfortable rooms with a beautiful panoramic sea view. You get the chance to have a breakfast buffet from 8-11 am and enjoy a cup of coffee in their terrace garden. Don't miss the small boutique at the reception area!

The main and only port of the island with a tranquil beach. Keep in mind there are no sunbeds yet there are quite a few beach umbrella for everyone to use. Here you can find a traditional taverna called Meltemi, Marconi café and a mini-market.

Marconi

Your go-to café for a light lunch by the beach or an afternoon snack. Ideal spot to try the famous "freddo espresso" (iced coffee), traditional Greek cakes like "portokalopita" (orange sponge cake) "mosaico" (chocolate and biscuit cake) and homemade savoury pies. They alsosell quite a few local products, like reusable mugs and juices.

100% Greek authentic food located in one of the cozy narrow streets of the Chora. A must try: their Sikiniot souvlaki (meat dish), chorta (leafy green vegetables). Reasonably priced and we went back twice!

Thalassa Restaurant

The best dining option among the restaurants at the port of Alopronia. Highly recommend it if you're seeking authentic Greek food. What I loved the most: cheese croquettes and seafood pasta
