Lovely bakery with excellent coffee choice. If you are matcha lover, I would recommend trying it out here. Locals come here to get fresh bread in the morning and eat pastries.

Located in a nice neighborhood next to a park, Mulberry is loved by locals but stays hidden in a plain sight. They have a vast choice of desserts which might be a bit expensive but it's worth to give it a try.

Great coffee shop where freshly roasted coffee is their specialty. And they sell their coffee as well. Fun fact: located on a peaceful Miera iela which is translated to Peace Street.

As locals like to refer "franči" (tr."French") to this particular café. It is owned by a French man and the name of the café is so long and foreign for the locals, so people lovingly started to refer to it simply as "franči". Tasty french pastries accompanied with lovely coffee and great atmosphere.

Another local coffee roastery. They serve amazing coffee as well as you can purchase beans and blends.

KURTS coffee

Lovely little standing coffee shop in the city. It's a family owned business whose son is named Kurts hence the name of the coffee shop. "Kurts" has an amazing story about a strong family whose son was born with special needs which means he needs special care which unfortunately costs a lot of money. So all of the money that they get from the coffee shop goes straight to Kurts's health bills.
