OSAKA, JAPAN
WHERE TO STAY
While there are several options that are suitable for your budget in Osaka, I would recommend staying in the Chuo District, or nearby, as much as possible. It's as central as can be, and it's near some of the main subway lines as well. Another perk about staying in Osaka for a few extra nights is that it's cheaper than say Kyoto, another popular destination I would recommend staying. However, you'll get more bang for your buck here.
ACTIVITIES
Osaka is one of those places you can get a lot done in one day as it's not as sprawling of a city as Tokyo. So no matter how much time you have, this guide has a ton of options for you to refer to. One thing about Osaka is that you don't really need an agenda... I found the best myself aimlessly wandering the city for most of my time there, seeing where it takes me. There's so much to do in the busy streets and shopping areas that you'll be surprised at how fast a day goes by!
