It'll take about 3 hours via multiple trains to arrive at Kawaguchiko (& back). Leave the hotel around 4:45a - 5:00a & use Google Maps for the quickest & easiest route.

Views of Mt. Fuji:

About a 10-15 min walk from Haostay Coffee is the Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway. Make sure to walk here right after breakfast as lines could get quite long and you are unable to buy tickets in advance.

The ropeway uses a gondola to take you to an observation deck near the peak of Mount Tenjo. From there, you’ll be able to see views of the lake below & Mt. Fuji. There are also food stalls and a gift shop at the observation deck!
