Ok so you might be passing through Athens on the way to one of the beautiful Greek Islands.

Of course you probably already have planned to do a tour to see the Parthenon which sits at the Acropolis BUT did you know there are some AMAZING roof top bars and restaurants in Athens with views of the Acropolis?...

Well let me tell you my fav picks...

1. NYX Rooftop

Style: Dress to impress/Date night

I know, I know it's not Greek food but if you're in Greece for a few days you will get your fair share of Greek food, trust me.

This rooftop is stunning for a couples date night or dinner and drinks with friends. The food and cocktails are amazing and it is one of my favourite restaurants.

2. Attic Urban Rooftop

Cuisine: Coffee/Cocktails/Full Menu

Price: $$$

Style: Anything goes/Instagramable 

This is my go to rooftop in Athens, whether its for a coffee in the day time, taking my laptop to do some work or drinks/dinner with friends in the evening, it's a beautiful vibe and a must in Athens.

Don't forget to take a photo at the floral swing before you leave.

If you're wandering around Monastiraki and wandering where to go, A for Athens is a go to. Probably one of the most central and popular rooftop's in Athens.  

The food and coffee is great, obviously the view is incredible but be prepared to wait if you don't have a booking.

When to go?

Honestly, anytime of the day or season is beautiful but for the most breathtaking views make sure to go at sunset.

Keep in mind summer gets very busy in Athens so book ahead or be prepared to wait in line.
