Being married to a local, I am blessed to get to experience this place with him and I've learned what are things that might be super popular with tourist but is a total skip for locals.

Spanish is the main language of PR however, don't worry if you aren't fluent. A lot of people in the cities know English, especially the service workers. It would be nice to learn the basics though like, "Hola!" - Hello! "Gracias"- Thank you! "Por favor"- Please ❤️
