Madrid Foodie Spots

Aarde - a stunning higher end restaurant, the truffle risotto is a must if you are visiting here. They also have a sister restaurant called Ten Con Ten, which is also worth the visit.

Casa Suecia - a cosy Spanish restaurant with a beautiful rooftop area. The rooftop has amazing city views and gets quite lively at night.

Asador Vasco En Busca Del Tiempo - a traditional Spanish tapas restaurant serving delicious meats. They also do happy hour on drinks (2 sangrias for 3 euros) a bargain and a good time! 

Galeria Canalejas Food Hall - not sure what to eat but want good food? this spot has all the options you can imagine! I specifically enjoyed Le Petite Dim Sum, they had amazing food.

La Casa Del Abuelo - if you like seafood you must try the garlic prawns from here with some freshly baked bread, it is so good!

El Eden Gastrobar - for only 15 euros you get a meal, a drink and access to RUI 360 rooftop bar which has the best views of the city in my opinion. This is definitely a good deal if you book online, as the queues to get in can be rather large if you haven't pre booked!

Tapa Tapa - looking for quick, affordable tapas and delicious sangria? you can't go wrong here!

Junk Burger - perfect for when you don't quite fancy tapas and want something classic. Delicious smashed burgers.

Bombilla Gastrobar - a lovely restaurant in Santa Ana square. The prawn tacos and salmon were 10/10.

Eat My Trip - if you want brunch that tastes as good as it looks then this is the spot for you. The menu was so good here but be prepared as they usually have a queue!

Ojalá - lovely range of brunch options from street food to homemade cakes, it'll be hard to decide what to order!

Honest Greens - a popular one for a healthier brunch option that is still 100% delicious!

Bloom - an elegant brunch spot that is on the pricier side but has beautiful food and aesthetics. They also offer dinner and cocktails if you want to save it for the evening.

Bo Speciality Coffee - great selection of coffee, pastries and lunch options. Can't go wrong.

Bendita Locura Coffee - another great brunch option with a multitude of options if you can't decide what you fancy!

Panthera - stunning restaurant with amazing sushi. It's a vibe as soon as you walk in then later in the night it turns into a club - what's not to love?

Quinto elemento - another fun restaurant with delicious food and great vibes. The roof opens up over the restaurant adding to the entertaining atmosphere. Located on top of the club Kapital, so you can just take the lift down straight to the club!

Salvaje - they provide dance entertainment the whole way through the dinner, food is amazing, and there is a club downstairs for when you finish dinner, another great option!

RUI 360 Sky Bar - a personal favourite of mine, the atmosphere, the music, the food, the drinks, the sunset, just everything is 10/10 here. 

Dear Hotel Rooftop - a smaller rooftop but that doesn't take away from the breathtaking views of the city it offers.

Donaluz - great food and drinks, lovely views of the Sol area.

Ginkgo Restaurante & Sky Bar - a stylish rooftop bar in the heart of Madrid, perfect for some tapas and cocktails.

Sky 44 - another slightly smaller rooftop area but neverless great vibes and beautiful views.

Picalagartos Sky Bar & Restaurant - a relaxed rooftop area serving modern Spanish food and a selection of drinks. Another favourite of mine on a sunny Spanish day.

Chocolatería San Ginés - if your a chocolate lover then you have to visit here. Churros and chocolate heaven. 

Villa Capri - a gorgeous Italian restaurant. The dessert here was particularly memorable, they do a delicious tiramisu and panna cotta.

Chambao - a beautiful restaurant that again transforms dinner into a party, they offer shisha too.
