With English (obviously) being the main language, access to great public transportation, and extremely diverse boroughs, London is also the ideal first trip for beginner solo female travelers.
Foodie? London has more than 74 Michelin-starred restaurants and a truly global food scene! (the Burmese and Vietnamese food was my favorite).
Adventure junkie? How about scaling the O2 arena for a once-in-a-lifetime sunset view of the city? Or steering a hot tub through Canary Wharf with friends?
