Day 1

12pm Check in to Midgardur by Center Hotels

Midgardur by Center Hotels
@Maddsmaxjesty
Center Hotels have many locations around Reykjavik! I stayed at this one and loved it specifically because of the luxurious spas + breakfast buffet they offer. This is a lovely hotel to relax after a long day! They have an indoor + outdoor spa, sauna, and offer massages as well. The breakfast buffet is daily from 6-10am. Each morning they serve a different variety of tasty food and coffee. This hotel is a short walk from many locations around the city and it has Bus Stop 13 right in front of it. Any time you book an excursion for the day, be sure to request to be picked up at this stop!

Bus Stop #13 Rauðarárstígur
@Maddsmaxjesty
This will be your main bus stop if you are staying at the Center Hotels location we lodged at! It is right in front of the lobby. Be sure to bring your bus ticket with you! Most tours take QR code bus tickets or a PDF on your phone. You do not need to print them out.

1:15pm Go To The Sky Lagoon

Sky Lagoon
@Maddsmaxjesty
The Sky Lagoon is a serene oasis that offers a unique seven-step ritual to promote relaxation and renewal. From the invigorating cold plunge to the mineral-rich geothermal waters, each step is designed to soothe the mind and body. Guests can also enjoy the waterfall and breathtaking views of the ocean from the infinity pool. It's an unforgettable experience! My favorite part of the Sky Lagoon was that it felt like an adventure. The cold plunge was exhilarating and the views were stunning! PS: The Sky Lagoon is heated to around 100 degrees (aka the average hot tub) Transportation: The Sky Lagoon is only around a 10 minute drive from Reykjavik. Have any hotel in the city call you a taxi. It should only cost around $15. Most taxis also use Apple Pay and tap pay so don't worry about bringing cash.

The Sky Lagoon is the newest lagoon in Iceland for tourists. It is one of the more luxurious ones for sure. People always ask, "should I go to the Blue Lagoon or the Sky Lagoon?' However, they are both such different but amazing experiences. Do both if you are able to. You will not regret it at all!
