Digital Nomad Community in Marbella

The Digital Nomad Community in Marbella is growing, even though it remains smaller than big hubs like Barcelona and Lisbon there are several factors to which this could become your new favorite remote-working spot.

Quality of Life and Mediterranean Lifestyle

A blend of Luxury, leisure, and work. Marbella offers a vibrant social scene, work facilities, and a beautiful environment. Marbella offers low crime rates and access to high-quality healthcare for peace of mind and well-being.

Infrastructure and Networking

Internet speed and reliability are crucial for remote workers. Marbella offers widespread fiber-optic networks with companies like Movistar and Orange being the top in Spain. Co-working spaces are also equipped with the necessary amenities for remote workers.

Cost of Living and Daily Expenses

Community and Culture

Fitness Community

Marbella also provides one of the most amazing Gyms I have ever been to if you are into fitness just like at the bottom of the guide you’ll find best ones.

Top 3 Areas in Marbella

Marbella Old Town

Where you will find the most picturesque streets with whitewashed buildings and historic landmarks. It is a perfect spot to walk around and enjoy the culture and dining of traditional tapas and ice creams.

Nueva Andalucía (Puerto Banús)

Elviria

A more laid-back, budget friendly area,  has a lovely beach Cabopino with many Chiringuitos throughout the beach with inflatable parks and more water activities. It is only 10 minutes away from Marbella old town so if you are looking for a more tranquile and budget friendly this area is perfect for you.

Mijas Costa (Sitio de Calahonda)

It has a variety of places in Mijas Costa, its center, Mijas Old Town, known for its Taxi Donkeys and traditional Spanish town is full of local markets like bakeries, pottery stores, and more. Moving away from the Mijas Old Town, its beautiful beach lies in between Caladahonda and the Cala de Mijas connected through a boardwalk which is perfect for going running or for a long walk along the beach. In addition, it is also a very calm area with affordable housing. It’s been a one of my favorite areas to stay over the years.

This quiet beach, despite its rocky shore, is perfect for peaceful sunbathing with nearby chiringuitos. I loved the relaxing vibe compared to other beaches. Beach chairs (tumbonas) are 6 euros each.
