Let's Talk Pizza (February Edition)
February is here, and we've gotten a lot of snow, but maybe too much. We also haven't gotten enough pizza, and in this month's edition of Let's Talk Pizza NYC, we dove into five of the cities' best pizza, as promised staying in Lower Manhattan.
- Traditas Pizza (1)
Founded in 2022, their roots go back to 1991 with Brooklyn restaurant, "Not Rays Pizza". They have 2 locations, in Nomad and Lower Manhattan. Staying on theme, we visited the Lower Manhattan location in early February.
NOTE: Traditas didn't win POTM, but probably the best slice in Manhattan below Canal Street!

- Pizza Etalia (3)
Staying close by from Traditas, we visited in late January and this place was very vintage and felt like a classic pizza place, with amazing slices and a long history.

- Rosella's Pizza (4)
When we tried Rosellas, we were offered with a nuique and comfy setting with delicious slices! We were even pretty close to the World Trade Center and it was at a very convient location compared to any on this list. Amazing slices!

- Lunetta Pizza (5)
As soon as we tried Lunetta Pizza, located in the West Village near Washington Square, we were hit with some of the best homemade and fresh sauce ever. This sauce tasted like a mix of italian and NY style, if that makes any sense. Overall, they have a pretty good slice!

And we saved the best for last, February's Pizza of the Month winner goes to.... Rocky's Pizzeria!
This slice shop is located in Murray Hill, and as soon as we tried the slice, I was met with a delicious and taste every NY slice deserves. The sauce was not too complicated, with a soft dough and crispy touch. This is definitely a Top 5 slice shop in NYC, 100% recommend!
