DAY 1: Shkodër - Valbona

the starting point of this journey is the city of Shkodër in northern Albania; here you will leave your vehicle to proceed with an organized tour. In the morning you will take a bus which will bring you through picturesque roads until Komani. Here you will embark on a boat that, navigating the Komani Lake, will bring you to Fierze. This 2.5-hour ferry trip through the Albanian fjords will undoubtedly fascinate you. Once in Fierze, the ride continues with a private minivan that will bring you to Valbona Valley, a national park inside the Albanian Alps. Valbona is the place you will overnight in a traditional guesthouse (there are many guesthouses in the area bookable for low prices and all including breakfast; they are the best choice for an authentic experience)

DAY 2: hiking from Valbona to Theth

The hike from Valbona to Theth is a whole-day hike, meaning it requires some preparation. Additionally, take into consideration that the temperatures in summer can get pretty high. Once in Theth, you can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing in the nature and overnight again in a typical guesthouse.
