After 15 years+ owning an award winning inn & cooking school here, we are VERY familiar with the wines of our Region & happy to share these favorites with you, all of which have been served at our farmhouse throughout the years! These are a few of our favorite wineries from Northern Le Marche for red, white & rosè. Plus two of our favorite enoteca's to rehydrate after a long day where you can find a mix of all these fantastic local bottles on their shelves! These wineries reflect the diversity of the region and include grapes that are completely unique to the area: * Lacrima di Morra d’Alba * Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi * Bianchello di Metauro * Incrocio Bruni 54 Take this list and visit the map for an interactive road trip! Or hire an expert guide and leave the driving to Marco, I've included details below of our trusted local Wine Guide & he'll pick you up where ever you may be staying in the area. Included in this list: * 8 Wineries * Top 3 Favorites List with suggested bottles to try! * 2 Enotecas * Contact details for Local, English-Speaking Wine Guide (includes transportation) * Personal tips and suggestions * An interactive map to follow with georgraphical locations & contact details of each location * Video of our visit to 3 of the wineries on this board, buying 600 liters of local wine for our farmhouse! * Access to any future updates to this board

In this short film, we visit 3 of the vineyards & winemakers, buying 600 liters of vino sfuso (loose table wine) & then return to our farmhouse to fill, cork and label the bottles with our guests!

Top 3 Wineries:

If you can’t hit up all the stops on this roadmap, these 3 family-run wineries are the very best to taste the traditional wines of Le Marche.

L A C R I M A di M O R R A D’ A L B A

An antique vine that predates the Romans, with orange & peppery notes and completely unique to Le Marche. "La crima' means the tear, they wait to pick the grapes until they are heavy and almost weeping. To be considered Lacrima, the vines must grow within the township of Morra d'Alba,.

The only stop for me when it comes to lacrima is Giusti!
