This place is so good that Drake (the artist) bought out the entire restaurant for a few days while he was in town. Although on the pricier side, it's worth every bite. I recommend the prosciutto and pork chop to share (for two). Make a reservation. If it's nice outside, take a walk in the beautiful neighborhood of DeMun and/or along the path in Concordia Seminary across the street.

There are a few locations, but our favorite is in the Demun neighborhood (right next door to Louie). Enjoy a nice evening here with a bottle of wine and a fresh pizza and charcuterie. This is a great and popular spot to also bring your dog to sit outside with plenty of outdoor seating options. Sit upstairs on the rooftop to overlook the beautiful Concordia Seminary grounds across the street.

My husband is obsessed with the lasagna here. We've been enough times the manager recognizes us and he still has yet to order anything else. I personally prefer the gnocchi, but really, you can't go wrong. There's an Italian beer on tap here that is also worth a try. If you go next door to Napoli Sea, make sure you order the banana's foster dessert! It's made fresh table-side and worth every last delicious calorie.

Caution about the Loop neighborhood: I have walked around at night with my friends in this neighborhood without incident. That said, this is, generally speaking, not a safe neighborhood. Be smart, leave nothing of value in your car, don’t walk around alone, and leave before dark. Okay? Great. Good talk.
