Restaurant recommendations:
A trip to Udaipur is not complete without trying out some of the famous restaurants and sweet shops in the city. Please note that the seating capacity in these restaurants is very limited (especially if you want a lakeside table) and hence, waiting times can be as long as two hours!
Pro-tips:
1. If you don't want to splurge on grand resorts, you can stay in some of the budget hotels located in the old town. However, please note that some of these hotels may not be accessible for a car, so you will have to hire an auto to carry your luggage.
2. It is preferable to avoid the summer months since it can be extremely hot.
3. Many tourist places and restaurants will be extremely crowded, especially on holidays and weekends. So plan your day to accommodate this waiting time as well.
