The city palace can get very crowded, especially around holidays and weekends. So, it is advisable to go there early in the morning (reach before 9.30 AM) to avoid the crowds.

It is also advisable to book e-tickets beforehand to avoid standing in long queues. Along with the admission ticket, you can also take tickets for the following if needed:

1. Personal guide/ audio guide (if you decide to hire a guide on the premises, it will be more expensive)

2. Electric car (the climb to the palace is pretty steep, so it is advisable to get this unless you fancy a hike)

There is a lot to observe and absorb in the City Palace. Depending on the crowd, you will easily spend a minimum of 2 - 3 hours here.

Once you are done with City Palace, head down to the counter where you can purchase the boat ticket to Jag Mandir. Jag Mandir is situated in the middle of Lake Pichola. You can spend some time here enjoying the ambience and views. There are also restaurants here offering amazing views of Lake Pichola.

In the evening, head to Bagore ki Haveli for a spectacular Rajasthani folk dance and puppet show. The show timings are from 7 - 8 PM, but ensure that you arrive early to get the tickets as well as ensure good seats.

Kumbalgarh is more than 2 hours ride from Udaipur, so make sure that you start early to avoid the crowd. Also make sure to wear comfortable shoes since there is a fair bit of walking involved.
