Getting to Napa
Most people have three convenient airport options to fly into: San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. If flying into San Francisco or Oakland, take into account traffic getting in/out of the city. Most travelers will be arriving headed into a weekend to maximize your choice of open wineries, and this often means heavy traffic even once you get out of the city limits. For less traffic, consider flying into Sacramento. Ubers are readily available from any of the airports to your Napa hotel and throughout the Napa Valley, or if you have a willing designated driver, consider renting a car for more flexibility.
Hotels
There are plenty of Air B and Bs to choose from in the Napa Valley, but they are often the same price as hotels. Since Napa Valley is home to some of the most delicious restaurants in the country, I recommend a hotel since you'll want to be eating out anyway!
