Our adventure begins in the bustling city of Delhi, the capital of India. Here are the must-visit places for your first day:

Dress conservatively. Both men and women should not wear sleeveless clothing and must cover their legs and head. If you are unsure of your attire, rent a robe from the North Gate. You will need to remove your shoes. You can either leave them at the door where there are people who look after them for you (you will have to give them a tip) or put them inside your backpack or purse. Also, they will provide you with a robe to put on for women and Tip: Bring socks so that you're not walking barefoot inside (if the sun is very strong, the stone floor will be very hot). You can also use slippers (the ones hotels provide or reusable ones that you can buy online)
